An update on all of us

Leah and Christie continue to do well, and I'm gaining weight and tolerating my feedings... wait a minute, that's Christie I'm talking about! Seriously, she's up to 2 lbs. 4 oz. and is taking to the feedings they're giving her throughout the day. We have been able to visit her daily, which is a joy, and we look forward to bringing her home someday soon. We're hoping to do that in early June, but the Lord has His own timing on these things, as we've already seen thus far. Thank you for all of your prayers and support! Special thanks goes out to all of those who have been bringing us meals and helping around the house, especially our church family! Also, thanks, Mom and Dad (both sets)!

Leah is home!

Just a brief update... I brought Leah home this afternoon and everything is going well. Her blood pressure is under control and she's resting, even though she'd rather not be. Christie is doing great(!) and there are some pictures of Leah holding her last night, and me holding her this morning. It was such a great joy to finally hold our daughter, and it was great to have that connection before we left the hospital for home. We have our first family portraits!
